- Limited edition aged single blended rum produced by Foursquare Rum Distillery in Saint Philip, Barbados
- Exceptional Cask Series Mark XXVIII “Convocation”
- Blend of 2 pot and column rums distilled from molasses by Foursquare Master Distiller & Master Blender Richard Seale
- Distilled in a double-retort copper pot still and twin Coffey column still
- Aged 14 years on-site in Barbados in ex–bourbon and ex–Madeira casks
- Classic nutty and oxidative Foursquare rum aromas of vanilla, toasted coconut, pipe tobacco, and bergamot orange precede a rich palate of caramelized grapefruit peel, roasted Macadamia nuts, blackberry cobbler, and pineapple with a chewy finish of taffy, salted caramel, and toffee
- No added sugar, coloring, or other additives
- Non-chill filtered; ABV
Hand-selected by Richard Seale himself, Foursquare’s Exceptional Cask Series represents the most unique and coveted rum from this celebrated distillery. Deceptively easy to drink despite its robust proof, Convocation is a blend of two fourteen-year-old rums—one fully matured in ex–bourbon barrels and the other in ex–Madeira casks—brimming with cocoa, tobacco, and caramel and punctuated by bursts of citrus and fresh berries.
