Monkey D. Luffy is the kind of pirate who solves 99% of problems by punching them and somehow that keeps working. In Gear 5, he basically turns into a walking cartoon powered by pure chaos and rubber physics, bending reality like he’s auditioning for a Looney Tunes crossover. Subtlety? Never heard of it.
This version of Luffy is joyfully overpowered, wildly unpredictable, and still somehow surprised every time someone expects him to act like a normal person. Whether he’s laughing in the face of danger or inventing new ways to break every rule of anatomy, Gear 5 Luffy is the definition of “uninhibited main character energy.”
